Terms of use

1. Provider and scope

EventUpload is operated by Aigner Software e. U., Hauptplatz 23, 4190 Bad Leonfelden, Austria (“we”). These terms apply to organizers who create upload pages and to participants who upload files through them.

2. Service

EventUpload lets organizers create upload pages through which participants upload files directly into the organizer’s Google Drive. EventUpload does not store uploaded files. Organizers need a Google account with Google Drive.

3. Fees

EventUpload is currently free of charge. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will inform you in advance; existing free use will not become paid without your consent.

4. Organizer obligations

• You are responsible for your upload pages and for the files you collect through them.
• You inform participants what you use the files for and make sure you may lawfully collect them (e.g. under the GDPR).
• You do not use EventUpload for unlawful purposes, spam or distributing malware.
• You make sure there is enough storage in your Google Drive.

5. Participant obligations

Only upload files you have the necessary rights to and whose content does not violate any law. Uploaded files are made available to the organizer of the upload page.

6. Availability

We strive for reliable operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. EventUpload also depends on third-party services (in particular Google Drive). We may change features or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. Your files always remain in your Google Drive.

7. Suspension

In case of abuse or violations of these terms, we may deactivate upload pages or suspend accounts.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for slight negligence. We accept no liability for content uploaded by organizers or participants. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

10. Termination

You can stop using EventUpload at any time, disconnect your Google Drive and request deletion of your account by emailing [email protected].

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and conflict-of-law rules. Consumers additionally enjoy the mandatory protection of the laws of their country of residence. Place of jurisdiction for businesses is Linz, Austria.
