Do my participants need an app or an account?
No. They just open the link or scan the QR code and upload their files in the browser.
Is EventUpload really free?
Yes, EventUpload is currently completely free. Because we don’t store any files, it costs us very little – the storage comes from your Google Drive.
Where are the files stored?
Only in your Google Drive, in the folder that belongs to your upload page. We don’t store the files.
Can EventUpload see my whole Google Drive?
No. EventUpload can only access the folders and files it created itself. The rest of your Drive stays invisible to us.
Which files can be uploaded?
Any file type. If you like, you can restrict each upload page, e.g. to images or PDFs only.
How large can files be?
There is no limit on our side. The limit is the free space in your Google Drive (15 GB for free accounts).
Can participants see each other’s files?
No. There is no gallery. Only you see the files in your Google Drive.
Can I use EventUpload for confidential documents?
Transfers are encrypted (HTTPS) and files are stored only in your Google Drive. There is no end-to-end encryption, though. For highly sensitive data such as job applications, tax or health records, use a dedicated end-to-end encrypted service.
What do I need as an organizer?
Just a Google account. You sign in with it, and the files land in your Google Drive.
